History and Expertise

Founded in 1990, Sharpe Products specializes in custom pipe and tube bending, laser cutting, end forming, and related fabrication for industrial and commercial applications. In addition, we offer a robust line of architectural / commercial-grade handrail fittings and components such as metal handrail brackets, caps and disks, connectors, flanges, newel caps and spheres.

Our two plants, located 15 minutes outside of Milwaukee, offer the latest machine technology to support your project, from prototype to full-scale production. 

With an extensive selection of tooling, we provide short lead times, as well as flexibility for customers who need tube and pipe bending in combination with laser cutting, end-forming and other services.  

Our customer base is made up of companies from a variety of industries including aerospace, agriculture, automotive, medical & life sciences, food & beverage, furniture & fixtures, recreational / outdoor equipment as well as metal fabrication. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Sharpe Products Company Timeline

 

1990

Articles of incorporation were filed for the formation of Sharpe Fabrication, Inc., d/b/a Sharpe Products. Operations began in Delafield, Wisconsin (30 minutes west of Milwaukee).
1994

Outgrowing its original home, the company moved to a 20,000 square foot facility in West Allis, Wisconsin (near Milwaukee). The expanded footprint allowed for greater manufacturing capabilities, increased workforce and expanded machine technology.

2002

Move to the current headquarters, a 51,000 square foot facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin (15 minutes west of Milwaukee), to allow for larger jobs and to accommodate the purchase of future equipment.
2006

The company decided to diversify its product offering, and further utilize its existing equipment and expertise to service industries such as agriculture, automotive, medical, and other OEMs that required custom bending and laser cutting. Investments were made in several pieces of state-of-the art machine technology such as electric CNC benders, tube inspect equipment and tube laser cutters to help fuel the company’s growth.
2010

Company earns ISO 9001:2008 certification
2014

Renovation of the company headquarters is started, adding a new reception area, additional office and work spaces, a full-scale kitchen, conference rooms, and employee exercise and break rooms.
2015

Purchase of an additional plant: a 38,000 sq. ft. facility, occupying 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space for the industrial handrail fittings and components products, bending machines and a second shipping area.
2019

Company completes ISO 9001:2015 certification
2020

Sharpe Products celebrates three successful decades in business, with an eye to the future.
2021

Expansion of facility to over 85,000 sq. ft., increasing capacity and dedicated space for polishing and finishing.
